DermCare Management and U.S. Dermatology Partners Complete Strategic Transaction to Combine Operations, Creating One of the Largest Dermatology Group Practices in the U.S.

Combination Builds on a Shared Commitment to Physician-Led, Patient-First Care and to Supporting the Teams Who Deliver It

HOLLYWOOD, Fla. & DALLAS--(BUSINESS WIRE)--DermCare Management, LLC (“DermCare”), a leader in specialized dermatology and cosmetic surgery practice-management services, and U.S. Dermatology Partners (“USDP”), a leading dermatology practice, today announced the completion of a strategic transaction that creates one of the largest dermatology groups in the U.S., spanning 12 states.

The transaction unites two clinically focused organizations with aligned missions to expand access to high-quality dermatologic and aesthetic care, improve clinical outcomes and deliver a superior patient experience across rural, suburban, exurban and coastal communities throughout the U.S.

“This is a pivotal moment for our patients, our providers and our teams,” said Jeffrey Schillinger, Founder and Chief Executive Officer of DermCare. “By joining forces with U.S. Dermatology Partners, we are building an organization with the scale, resources and clinical depth to help even more patients access the dermatologic care they need, when and where they need it. Our combined organization will stay rooted in what has always set us apart: physician-led, patient-first care.”

“Together, DermCare and U.S. Dermatology Partners will set a new standard for what patients should expect from dermatologic care,” said Paul Singh, President and Chief Executive Officer of USDP. “By bringing together our shared commitment to clinical excellence, proven track record of growth and combined organizational resources, we have an opportunity to expand access to high-quality care, accelerate innovation and deliver even better outcomes for the patients in the communities we serve.”

Advancing Clinical Education, Research and Best-in-Class Care Delivery

The combined organization’s scale and resources will support its ongoing initiatives to expand clinical education and professional development for providers and practice staff, broaden participation in national dermatology clinical trials, and continue investing in the clinical and practice technology that care teams rely on every day. Together, these initiatives are intended to support providers in delivering best-in-class care while giving them more time with patients and more opportunity to grow their careers within the organization.

Key benefits of the combined company include:

  • Expanded Patient Access: Combined resources enabling more than three million patients to access timely, high-quality medical, surgical and cosmetic dermatology care each year, with opportunities to continue expansion into underserved rural and suburban communities.
  • Physician-Led Clinical Excellence: A shared commitment to preserving physician autonomy while pairing key opinion leaders and nationally recognized specialists across the combined organization.
  • National Clinical Trials Capability: Combined scale and infrastructure to support national dermatology clinical trials, expanding patient access to leading-edge treatments and research.
  • Operational and Technological Investment: Enhanced practice-management support that allows physicians to focus on patient care rather than administrative burden.
  • Unified Culture: A combined team united by a commitment to clinical excellence, extraordinary patient service and continued investment in the communities they serve.

Jeffrey Schillinger, Founder and Chief Executive Officer of DermCare, will serve as Executive Chair of the combined company. Paul Singh, current President and Chief Executive Officer of USDP, will serve as President and Chief Executive Officer of the combined company. Physician leadership from both organizations will continue to guide clinical strategy and patient care standards across the organization.

Integration efforts are well underway to ensure a seamless experience for patients, providers and staff throughout the transition, with continued investment in the technology, clinical resources and support services needed to expand access to care.
